What's your highest level of education?

Financial Aid

Many adult students seek out financial aid options to help them achieve academic success. More than half of the current adult learners at Indiana Wesleyan Unversity receive financial aid and believe the benefits of this quality of education outweigh the costs.

Talk to your employer about education reimbursement. Indiana Wesleyan University's works closely with many employers in your area.

Financial aid recipients are required to maintain satisfactory academic progress in their course of study. Students are required to attend the necessary class sessions per the APS Academic Attendance and Tardy Policy. Students receiving Financial Aid are required to complete their program within a maximum period of 1.5 times the standard program length.

Military Discount

Indiana Wesleyan University's LEAP Program offers discounts to military. LEAP will offer tuition discounts to all military, including members of Reserves, the National Guard, and their spouses. Tuition fees are discounted for both bachelor's and master's degree programs.

Indiana Wesleyan University's designed their LEAP program 13 years ago to respond to the needs of working adults in a constantly changing workplace. Busy adults can choose to study completely online or take classes on-site, one night a week, at any one of the multiple community locations throughout Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio.

Other advantages of the LEAP program include the fact that students register only once for courses and that books and materials are delivered directly to them. Military personnel can choose from a wide array of degree programs, including accounting, business administration, criminal justice, business information systems, marketing and management.

Students Rights and Responsibilities

The adult learner has the right to know the following:

  • What financial aid is available, including information on all Federal and State programs?
  • The cost of attending the programs and the school's refund policy.
  • The criteria used by the institution to select the financial aid recipients.
  • How the school determines your financial need. This process includes how costs for tuition and fees, books, and living expenses are considered in your budget.
  • What resources (such as employer reimbursement, other financial aid, etc.) are considered in the calculation of your need?
  • How much of your financial need, as determined by the institution, has been met.
